29 May Adjustment to China Customs Advanced Manifest (CCAM) regulations
As per the release of Order No. 56 [2017] by China Customs regarding changes in regulations to the CCAM, all shippers or parties with export cargo to Chinese Mainland will be required to comply with additional regulatory requirements.
These mandatory rules, to be come into effect as from 1st June 2018, will include the following adjustments:
- The Advanced Manifest must be submitted 24 hours prior to loading for all vessels which are going to, via or out of any of the mainland ports in China.
- To Comply with this rule, Transolve Global must receive an accurate Shipper’s letter of Instruction at least 48 hours prior to vessel arrival at the Port of Loading.
- Manifest submission details must include an accurate and a total representation of all goods as declared under the Bill of Lading.
- The information required on the China import Manifest must contain the following key information:
- Consignor’s company code (Mandatory)
- Consignor’s phone number (Mandatory)
- Consignor’s Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status (Optional)
- Consignee’s company name (Mandatory)
- Consignee’s company code (Mandatory if Consignee is not “TO ORDER”)
- Consignee’s phone number (Mandatory if Consignee is not “TO ORDER”)
- Name of contact person for Consignee (Mandatory if Consignee is not “TO ORDER”)
- Phone number of contact person for consignee (Mandatory if Consignee is not “TO ORDER”)
- Consignee’s Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status (Optional)
- Notify Party’s company code (Mandatory if Consignee is “TO ORDER”)
- Notify Party’s phone number (Mandatory if Consignee is “TO ORDER”)
